Bom dia!

Sou cliente da NOS empresas, dispondo, entre outros, do serviço de Internet fixa (via cabo, 1Gbps) e o serviço empresarial adicional de “IP Fixo”.

Sucede que a ligação é pessima, em termos de estabilidade e latência, praticamente inutilizável, como se pode comprovar nos print-screens desta manhã, dos logs do router, que se seguem:

 

 

Ou router é um servidor dedicado Supermicro, com processador Xeon e 32Gb ram ECC, correndo a última versão do pfSense (23.09.1-RELEASE), e tem muito pouca carga, portanto isto é claramente um problema da rede NOS… e necessida de imediata atenção e intervenção técnica.

Ola I have a chita hub 5 router with port 4 activated  bridge mode- firmware revision 7.2.4.9.1b5.Im trying to connect a PF sense router to this port on the nos router but am not able to get a IP assigned to the PF sense router (Wan) Are you able to run a second public if from this nos  router and / would nos be able to share the respective IP details to connect through this router as I cannot trust nos router for my setup I currently have.Home client I can share my account details once I get a answer I can also try go to nos offices if required.

Hi yes the goal is to connect a second router (non- nos) via the bridge port 4 which will allow me more features and better security. Await your reply .

After activating the Lan 4 bridge on the NOS router, and connecting your router, it’s not getting internet access through the second one?

Hi Joao I have had this gateway connection online on the gateway yesterday already , but I am still not able to ping 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8 all packets not received,added a small screenshot.All help regarding this would be appreciated to get this up and running.

 


Update - I have reset the nos router back to factory and set it up again on bridge mode port 4. I have gateway online, I am able to ping nos gateway from PF sense no loss of packets, but not able to ping external websites.

You cannot ping outside the LAN? that means u dont have internet access… 

do you have internet accessin general? or is it that the issue is that you cannot ping specific services? 

I would say that is a firewall issue, blocking some services that considers to not be safe but more details would be great!
