Ola, e desculpe, eu falo um pouco de portugues. In fact, that’s probably why I’m running into these problems.
I was subscribed to get a phone as well as a phone number and data plan from NOS, but after 4 months of waiting I’ve decided to buy my own. I inserted the NOS SIM card into the new phone, but it wants a PIN number. That makes sense. I have the NOS APP on my US phone and attempted to associate the service, but it wants to send a text to the number… of the SIM card that I’m trying to unlock.
I can’t get the text message from the number of the SIM card because I can’t unlock the SIM card, and I can’t get the SIM PIN without having the account associated.
I can’t call in because I lack a working comprehension of Portuguese, so the call tree doesn’t get me where I need to go--and so far, the unfortunate support representatives I’ve gotten on the phone haven’t spoken English. (Not their fault at all.)
How do you set up the SIM card the first time so you can associate your home internet and your mobile number to your NOS APP account?
