I have already sent a private message to @Fórum a couple of days ago, but have had no response as of yet. I put my client number, phone number and NIF in the message. 

 

@Jorge C The link you have provided me takes me to a page asking why I want to cancel. I can't see where I need to put my Portuguese phone number. 

 

Could you please help?

So I'm expected to be called soon to discuss the cancellation?

The reason why I would like to leave NOS is that I'm living in France now and wish to change to a provider here instead. 


I gave the link a go and was called by NOS. I spoke to someone in English who said I would be transferred to someone in the cancellations department, but no one responded. 

I really need to cancel the contract because I'm no longer living in Portugal.

Good morning all!

 

Update on my situation :

 

I received a call from NOS a couple days ago. The employee offered me a new contract, which I declined, and it seems that they took into account my cancellation, but I'm not entirely sure. 

Again, my Portuguese isn't the best, but I understood that I would be contacted again at some point?

Can anyone tell me whether my cancellation has been taken into account or will I need to call again?

I received a call regarding my contract cancellation. 

I was told by Edgar that I need to write down a letter saying that I wish to cancel my contract and sign it, then send it to an address in Lisbon. 

 

Is this the correct address ? Reneffa Levre

I have to say this is the most confusing and inconvenient process to cancel a phone contract I've ever seen. 

NOS should change this process.

  1. The easiest way to cancel your service is to ask one specialist staff to call you free of charge .

 

  1. If you prefer, you can call +351 931 699 000 or 16990 and choose the Deactivation option .

 

  1. Alternatively, you can apply in person or by post:
  • Gather the following documents:
  • Termination of contract application form. This form must be signed by the person in whose name the contract is, and the signature must be the same as on your identification document;
  • Photocopy of an identification document with signature . If you do not want to send a photocopy of the document, you can only send the termination form. In that case, your signature must be certified by a notary or a lawyer. Or, alternatively, you can go to a store and fill in the personal data confirmation form with your identification document.
  • Documents can be:
  • sent through the email form by selecting the option  Send documents for contractual termination
  • delivered to a  NOS store
  • sent by mail to Apartado 52111, EC Campo Grande, 1721-501 Lisbon

Right, but this is a completely different address to that which your colleague Edgar from NOS told me by phone. I've sent a handwritten letter to the address he gave me (which is what he asked for).

Absolutely no news regarding my cancellation. 

 

I have send emails and letters to NOS, with no answer at all. 

 

What is going on? It shouldn't be taking this long.

I have received yet another email from NOS saying I will be charged €30 by the 28th of May. 

 

What is going on?

 

You told me my contract would be over by the 1st of May... Which seems to be the case as I can no longer make calls or use my network. 

 

So why am I being charged €30 at the end of this month?
