Charges for 16990

I read other comments that calling them for a NOS number should be free of charge.

I called them regarding a error message I get when I am trying to access Kuantokusta.pt. I was told by NOS that they could call me back, but the person I was taking to declined to do that. He told me to down load an application, Supremo, so I could share my screen. Well,  that took some time and before I was done, the call got disconnected as I only have pay card. So they actually charged me for nothing, just waiting while I was downloading the app and created an account there.

Calls to customer support are charged according to the number you contacted. As stated on the NOS website, only calls to 16990 are free when made from the NOS network for automated support, sales, and technical support.
There is also a support line with a mobile number (931 699 000), which is charged at the standard national mobile call rate.
