My account was requested to be closed as of 16/2/2024 but I was still sent an invoice that came out of my account on 12/3. I want to check that my direct debit is now cancelled.

The contract closure must be formalized 10 days before the end of billing cycle.
If this does not happen, a new billing cycle will already be opened and the contract will only be terminated by the end of that one.
You can check your billing cycle in your invoice. Also, you can check all active direct debits in your homebanking app.
