still being invoiced when I have cancelled my contract

My account was requested to be closed as of 16/2/2024 but I was still sent an invoice that came out of my account on 12/3. I want to check that my direct debit is now cancelled.

Thank you for your message.

The contract closure must be formalized 10 days before the end of billing cycle.
If this does not happen, a new billing cycle will already be opened and the contract will only be terminated by the end of that one.

You can check your billing cycle in your invoice. Also, you can check all active direct debits in your homebanking app.

The first time I cancelled I then went to the store to take the kit back and they told me that it had not gone through. So I repeated the process in the store. Now I seem to be being charged a further month. This is really frustrating.

I'm also still being charged when I spoke to someone on the phone end of April as I was leaving the country. I am now on the U.S.A. and not able to get this resolved.
