Option for Subtitles does not exist on my NOS tv box

Using an Arris ZC4431KNO Cable Box with the updated software UX Version 6.0.18.

 

I cannot find any option to turn on subtitles for any channel. I assumed this would be available by pressing “Ok” or “Info.” Neither button works for this purpose. Note, I am looking for Portuguese subtitles, not English.

Subtitles comes from the programs themselves, not an option on the box

Thank you for your message. ​@Guimas gave a good help explaining this matter.

Subtitles are provided by each channel for each particular program, so the majority of content will not have Portuguese subtitles available.
