charge to keep sim active


Hi, I’ve received this message from NOS and I don’t understand why they’d charge me to simply keep my phone number active when it was their specific advertising that I didn’t need to when I bought it only ~1 month ago. What can I do to not be charged but still keep my number?

“No dia 05/04 vamos retirar do seu saldo 2.00 euros para que o seu numero continue ativo. Esta cobranca vai ser feita de 2 em 2 meses.”
