Unable to cancel my account

I moved out of Portugal last July and called NOS to cancel my acvount. They confirmed the cancellation. I continued to receive invoices. I called again to cancel and was told it was cancelled. I continue to receive invoices. NOS finally terminated my contract and is now threatening litigation for unpaid invoices. It is quite frustrating.
