Activate Nos sim card in the UK - Livres Dia

Hi there,

I live in the UK and purchased a brand new NOS sim card from Portugal. I 've tried inserting the new sim card in my UK phone, in the UK, but it doesn't seem to be working. I 'm unable to receive SMS or calls on the number. 

I am able to check the balance on the sim using *111# and it ’s saying that there is 0.00 credit - however the Livres Dia was meant to come with 2.50 EUR preloaded .

Do I need to carry out any further steps to get the sim card working in the UK, or to get credit loaded onto the card?
