desbloquear roteador


NOS support team,

I’m from Ukraine and purchased your router to user 4G internet. Now I’m going back to Ukraine and would like to take that router with me to use it in Ukraine, however it’s locked to your network. I need an unlock code or a unbranding firmware, so I can use it in Ukraine.

 

Please let me know what I need to do to get that.

It is NOS branded and yes I have tried using a different SIM, I get a message about unlock code needed. The IMEI of the router is 869180049303167 with a SN MCNUT20827002317.

Can you please assist me as promised? Your colleage Ana either has no knowledge in IT technologies or simply straight up lying to me by saying that this router is quoting “fixed satellite internet services” and saying that it cannot be unlocked.

The regular housewife or non technical person will believe this lie, however I’m IT infrastructure engineer and I know how technology works.

 

I’m waiting for that code or a firmware to unlock this router so I can use it in Ukraine.

I have not gotten a response from you or your colleages about when I will receive either an unlock code for my router or the firmware to unlock it.

Please spare the tales that Ana was trying to tell me, to non-technical customers, and those who will believe those lies, but with me - those stories will not work.

 

This is GSM router, which can be unlocked, and I already specified the methods by which it can be unlocked, and any technical person knows this (I hope you know this too!).

 

So, when can I expect to receive that code or an unlock firmware?

While your promises to help me in private messages sound good, however your attempts to make me believe that I’m stupid will not work (or maybe you don’t know what you are talking about🤔?). Any hardware capability is governed by the hardware’s firmware. How well that hardware works and all of the features involving that hardware is governed by software which runs in parallel with firmware. Software is what is blocking different SIMs from other providers to be used in a router, not a type of contract person has with you. Your attempts to lie to me that this router cannot be unlocked and make up stupid reasons - it’s all a lie!

Please be more professional and stop lying! If other clients believe you, their loss! I’m a technology specialist with 15+ years of enterprise IT experience and your stupid lies won’t work with me.

I was really hoping to get that unlock code or an unlocked firmware, I thank you for your support and good service and continue on with my life, but as usual, majority of business (and government) in Portugal are fraudsters (shame!).
